‘Banking Chanakya’ is a Quiz contest open to all serving staff members currently employed in any bank,
located anywhere in India. It is a Team Game and not open for individual participation. Each team should
comprise of TWO Members, both of whom should be from the same Bank not necessarily from the same city
and same branch but from the same zone . There is no restriction on the number of teams that can
register from each bank and there is no registration charge or participation fee.
The participating teams can enter the contest directly by filling the Online Registration Form on
Banking Chanakya Webpage (www.bankingchanakya.com) during the preliminary round. Care should be
taken that persons do not register themselves in more than one team.
In the event of the participating teams qualifying for the on-ground physical rounds, the teams
should arrange to seek official permission from the competent authority of their respective organisation
for representing the bank in the event, i.e. the Zonal Semi-Finals or National Final as the case may be.
The first stage is PRELIMINARY ROUND is a zone wise on-line contest. The Teams can participate in the preliminary round from the comfort of their office/home. A team of two participants from the same zone can register and play the preliminary round on the specified days during which the Registration window is open.
Registration Dates – 21.11.2024 (10:00 AM) to 05.12.2024 (11:59 PM).

Preliminary Round Quiz Results Date - 07.12.2024 (After 08:00 PM).
The second stage is the QUARTER FINAL ROUND which is a zone wise on-line contest. The TOP 200 TEAMS qualifying from the preliminary round (50 Teams from each zone) will participate in the quarter final round from the comfort of their office/home on the specified day. The teams will be ranked basis their marks scored in the preliminary round and also, time taken to complete the quiz.

Quarter-Final Round Quiz Results Date – 13.12.2024 (After 08:00 PM).
The third stage is the ON-GROUND SEMI-FINAL organized as Zonal level events. Four on-ground
events in four different Zones (North, South, East and West) will be conducted respectively at
Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai with the TOP SIX TEAMS qualifying from the Top-50 Teams from
each Zone, on the basis of their score in the on-line Quarter Final contest. The teams will be
ranked basis their marks scored in the preliminary round and also, time taken to complete the
quiz.
The participants from the top six teams will have to travel to the place where the Zonal
Semi-Finals will be held. IIBF shall reimburse the II AC (both ways) or the equivalent amount
incurred from the boarding point to the said destination, whichever is less, on submission of
proof of travel by the participant. The lodging, boarding and local transportation will have to
be arranged by the participating teams themselves.
The rules of the Semi-Finals will be declared at the time of the event.
Dates for the Semi-Finals will be notified later.
The fourth and final stage is the National Finale with the four winning teams from the respective
Zones. The Four Zonal Champions will have to travel to Mumbai for participating in the National
Finale. IIBF shall reimburse the II-AC (both ways) or the equivalent amount incurred from the
boarding point to the said destination, whichever is less, on submission of proof of travel by
the participant. The lodging, boarding and local transportation will have to be arranged by the
participating teams themselves.
The Dates for the National Finale will be notified later.
